In 2008 UNDP Mozambique supported the development and publication of the CIVICUS Civil Society Index 2007. This publication, The Mirror of Narcissus – Knowledge and Self-conscience for a better development of the Mozambican Civil Society, is a participatory assessment of the former book. It describes the experiences in implementing the Civil Society Index, it tells the lessons learned and recommendations that can be made by the Civil Society itself and the the donors and the government. Published in electronic format by UNDP in March 2011.
